I started being really dedicated to a daily practice of meditation maybe since August or September of 2017. When I started getting better at quieting my mind I would see a bright purple or violet pin prick of light that would change into various abstract or sort of fractal patterns. It was okay it didn't disturb me, but I didn't know if I was supposed to be focusing on this or maybe I had made it too important. So, I would change my focus and let it pass to avoid making this a focus of my meditation. I assume this is a normal occurrence. Should I be avoiding it or just let it emerge?
